All students can be successful in science class.  Follow the suggestions below to improve your grades:

 

·        YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO AT LEAST 30 MINUTES OF SCIENCE STUDY/REVIEW EVERY NIGHT!!!

 

·        Go to baconscience.pbwiki.com to see what is going on every week, when tests and quizzes are scheduled, projects are due and for other important information!

 

JUST SHOWING UP IS NOT ENOUGH!  BE AN ACTIVE LEARNER:

·        Be prepared for class.

o       Organized Binder

o       Loose-leaf paper

o       Pens and pencils

·        Consult your PRINTED syllabus daily

.  Do the Bell Work conscientiously

·        Pay attention in class, take good notes

·        Stay mentally focused.

·       Work diligently in class on activities and labs.

·      Watch videos carefully instead of putting your head down, etc.

 

• Turn in your completed HW (SQ3R)/LAB REPORTS on time.  Remember, NO LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED!

 

• Read your book carefully and take notes on ANY reading assignment (SQ3R).

 

·     SEEK EXTRA HELP to have your questions/concerns addressed.

 

• STUDY for all tests and quizzes.
• DAILY review of notes and class activities
• Behave at all times, especially during lab activities.

 

• ·        STOP SOCIALIZING when asked to.

 

• Be respectful to yourself and others.

·    TAKE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CLASS SERIOUSLY!

·     Attend after-school study sessions for the test.
