Biology I is a science class covering topics such as cells, human populations, genetics, evolution, and the classification of living things.
Monday- Investigate what information you can learn from a graph of a human population in a specific country. Complete the power of the pyramids activity where you will calculate the percentages of males and females in a particular country in different age groups and then graph the information in a population pyramid.
HW= Finish graph if not completed in class
Tuesday- Review the Power of the Pyramids activity. Compare the graphs made for the different countries investigated, and answer the conclusion questions. After the conclusion questions are finished, you will be introduced to the Population Dynamics Power Point Project. You will select two countries (one developed and one undeveloped) to research.

Wednesday- Work in computer lab to complete the Human Population Dynamics Power Point

Thursday-Work in computer lab to complete the Human Population Dynamics Power Point
HW: Finish Power Point if not completed with class time
Friday- Work in computer lab to complete the Human Population Dynamics Power Point (due at the end of the period!!)
